The QC Premier Music, Film, Comedy, and Art Festival is Seeking Submissions

One of my favorite festivals in the Quad Cities Area is Alternating Currents.  It takes everything the QC's are known for and spreads it all over downtown Davenport for one weekend of Music. Film. Comedy. and Art.

Alternating Currents has grown into one of the largest, most anticipated cultural events in Downtown Davenport. Since its inception, the festival has grown exponentially, both in terms of attendance and overall artistic quality.  Alternating Currents has firmly cemented itself as one of the Quad Cities premier summer festivals that offers something for everyone interested in live music, film, comedy and cutting-edge art installations from all over.

August 19 – 21, 2022 make plans to be in Downtown Davenport for a seriously one of a kind event.

Right now, they are accepting submissions for the Film portion of the event.

Our festival is open to all genres. Our goal is to help the filmmaker promote their work, to meet new contacts and create a new audience. This is about you and we want you to use our stage.

 

In late August, downtown Davenport will be brimming with energy as over a dozen venues host a wide variety of original live music, film screenings, comedians, and visual artists.
