The fall season and family fun are in the air! The Davenport Public Library is hosting an Outdoor Pumpkin Party next Saturday, October 16th at the Fairmount St. Children's Garden (3000 N Fairmount St, Davenport).

The Davenport Public Library invites you to bring the family for an afternoon of fall fun Saturday, October 16th. There will be pumpkins, scarecrows, and crafts to celebrate the fall season. You and the kids can try to win your pick of pumpkins from their patch as you and your family, and other Quad City families participate in the Pumpkin Walk.

Davenport Library officials say that people will be able to enjoy spiced apple cider, make a leaf crown, and take plenty of pictures at their fall photo-op station.

If you want to attend the Outdoor Pumpkin Party, registration is required and space is limited so you should do that sooner rather than later. To register, you can click here. There are two sessions during the Outdoor Pumpkin Party. The first session is from 1 p.m. - 1:45 p.m., and the second session is from 2:30 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.

Officials say that this program will be held outdoors. In case of inclement weather, the event will either be rescheduled or turned into a take-home kit. You can check on the Davenport Public Library's website or their Facebook page for updates.
