It's crazy to see how many toys and games rise in value over the years. Sometimes it's the most random stuff that's just sitting in your basement waiting to make you some cash.

Today we are looking at a game from the early and mid-2000's called 'Heroscape' a toy that was unfortunately discontinued in November 2010. I grew up with this toy, and while they were a bit pricy brand new, that is nothing compared to how much they are worth now!

How Did You Play?

Heroscape is an expandable turn-based miniature wargaming system that was a product of Hasbro, Inc. The game is usually played using pre-painted miniature figures on a board made from interlocking hexagonal tiles. This would allow you to build your own board and landscape.

How Much Is It Worth?

If you look online for this toy you will now be spending hundreds compared to the tens you would have spent in the early 2000s.

The "Heroscape Master Set: Rise of the Valkyrie" was once only $50, but nowadays it sells for any price between $100 to $500 depending on the condition. It's priced at over $300 on Amazon.

A Heroscape wave, which was once a few hundred dollars, now is worth almost $1,000!

The most valuable asset is mint condition figures with their cards. Almost everything related to Heroscape has doubled in value even if it's damaged. If it's in good condition, the value has most likely increased by tenfold which is absolutely insane to think about.

My set was worth about $4,500 with the figures. The funniest part is that I bought most of it at a garage sale for less than $100 when I was a kid. I had no idea it would turn into something so valuable! Do you have any of the set pieces?

The board is made from interlocking hexagonal tiles, allowing for the construction of a large variety of 3D playing boards. This is what makes it worth so much. The platform can be broken up and turned into something new each time, the possibilities are truly endless. Here are what to look for.

This Toy Is Worth Thousands

If you still have parts to this toy, you could make some serious $$$$. Countless parts of this game are worth a pretty penny alone.

Here is a look at different parts you may have for the game "Hero Scape"
If you have any of these you could be making some serious cash, so keep an eye out.

A single figure can be worth hundreds, it's really intriguing to think about how much more the value will rise over the years.
