Are New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and 19th president of the United States Rutherford B. Hates related? No, but their resemblance is uncanny.

Tiger Droppings user Hugo Stiglitz pointed out the striking resemblance between the two in a post on the forum, offering an old portrait of Hayes (before he grew the giant beard) as evidence.

And we have to agree: Hayes and Brees are definitely lookalikes. But that's really where the similarities end. The Saints QB was born and raised in the south (Austin, Texas), while Hayes was from Ohio. Brees also never grew a ridiculous beard. And then there's the whole political office thing. Oh, and we're pretty sure Hayes threw a football like a girl.*
