Free Things To Do With the Fams in the QC This Summer

Summer is here and with it comes the desire to get out and do fun things but with gas being so expensive, that can be tricky to do.

Luckily for those of us who are smushed into a tight budget, there are a lot of events and happenings in the Quad Cities this summer that are free. Of course, some of these events and places have food, drinks, or additional things that you can buy if you want to.

For the 4th of July, we know there are a lot of fireworks shows in the QCA that you will be able to enjoy for free. But go ahead and get the lawn chairs out this summer for all kinds of movies, concerts, and places you can take the kids on a pretty summer day.

Even if you don't have kids, it's always good to save some money where you can (and we can only stay in and binge Hulu or Netflix so much before we need to get out). Flights are pricey and problematic at the moment and gas is outrageously expensive so it can easily hit our summer plans.
