This Sunday, you'll have a chance to celebrate our local first responders at an event at a downtown Davenport brewery.

Front Street Brewery & Taproom will be having their Thank A First Responder Day on Sunday, July 17th. It will be from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. First responders will be welcome to stop by the Front Street Brewery taproom for free beer and free live music.

There will also be a raffle for a Glock G48 Semi-Automatic 9MM Pistol from Shooting Sports QC and food from Freight House's own Antonella's Pizzaria and Chill Ice Cream & Eats.

You'll also be able to kick back and listen to some live music from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. from Radio Flyer Pilots.

Proceeds from the event will go to First Responders Foundation, which hosts different trainings for first responders and services to help them and their families. That includes things like getting service dogs for first responders, physical and financial health services, and a support team for first responders.

Front Street Brewery's event on Sunday is to honor all of our official law enforcement, fire, EMS, dispatch, and volunteer personnel who are the first on the scene. First responders will need to show proof of affiliation to their servers to get their free beer.

Thank A First Responder Day is open to the public and you're welcome to stop by, enjoy a beer and food, and say thanks to our local first responders. To keep up with the latest on the event, check it out on Facebook.
