It's no surprise to find people in the Quad Cities wanting to help others during the holidays. If you know someone who could use a little help with a Thanksgiving meal share this article.

There will be a free drive-thru event on Sunday, Nov. 14, from noon until 2 p.m. at 849 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline.

Molina Healthcare of Illinois and Focus Fundamentals LLC is hosting a free drive-thru event to provide Thanksgiving day food items to community members.

300 bags of food will be provided on a first come first served basis while supplies last. According to the QC Times, the bags will include all the Thanksgiving day food fixings like stuffing mix, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, gravy mix, cake mix, and frosting.  

Chicken, turkey, or ham will be available while supplies last. If you participate in the event you're asked to stay in your car while volunteers load supplies for you. Masks are required.

Focus Fundamentals LLC is a youth fitness resource for the Quad Cities area. Their goal is to help young athletes achieve their health, fitness, and performance goals. If you have questions about the event or you'd like to volunteer you may contact Focus Fundamentals at (309) 278-7014.
