Government Bridge Closing

The Government Bridge will be closed to traffic for inspection from 8:15 to 2 pm, tomorrow, Friday, September 29th. Cars will not be allowed through, however foot and rail traffic will not be affected.

Barricades will be in place during the closing to prevent entrance.

River traffic will not be affected.

On Sunday, the Rock Island inspection gate on Arsenal Island will be closed from 7:00am to 6:00pm for inspection of the railroad bridge over the entrance.  The Davenport gate will be open Sunday as an alternate entrance to the Arsenal.
