Parmalee Ready for Down Country Benefit Concert

Once again, Down Country is bringing some of country music's biggest artists to the Marion County Fairgrounds this October, and Kate Dougherty and her team had the opportunity to chat with one of the bands taking the stage on October 10...Parmalee.

The #Awareness2Acceptance charity concert series returns this fall to the Marion County Fairgrounds, featuring Carson Bock (a Palmyra native), Alex Miller, Parmalee, and Craig Morgan on October 10. Best of all, 100% of the profits from ticket sales benefit Down Country.

What Is Down Country's #Awareness2Acceptance Concert?

Down Country is a Tri-State nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals of all abilities and uses Down syndrome as the voice for #EveryChild and their families.

Watch Parmalee Talk About the Upcoming Concert

This year, Kate and her team had the privilege of speaking with Parmalee about the upcoming concert. As you'll see in the video below, everyone is excited to perform at this year's #Awareness2Acceptance concert in October.

Gates will open at 1 pm at the Marion County Fairgrounds with Carson Bock performing at 3 pm, followed by Alex Miller at 4:30, Parmalee at 6 pm, and finally Craig Morgan at 8 pm. There is no parking fee, and concertgoers are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs.
