Iowa fans remember Keegan Murray getting hot and carrying the Hawkeyes to victory. Saturday night, Murray got hot again and set an NBA record in the process.

Murray had a solid first half for the Kings as they took on the Utah Jazz on Saturday night. The former Iowa Hawkeye had 19 points. But that was nothing compared to what was about to happen in the game's third quarter. The Cedar Rapids Gazette reports that Murray scored an incredible 26 points in the third quarter alone, including shooting an insane 12 of 13 from the three-point line.

His 12th three of the game came nearly at the buzzer at the end of the third quarter. With that shot, Murray set a new NBA record with 11 straight three-point shots made during a game, breaking a 12-year-old NBA record, according to the Gazette. Murray played very few minutes in the 4th quarter and finished with a career-high 47 points in a Sacramento victory. Murray also broke the King's record for most points in a single quarter which was set back in 1995.

Here are all of Murray's record-setting threes from Saturday night's win!

What could be better than setting an NBA record and franchise record for threes, and a career-high for points? How about getting a shout-out from one of the game's best shooters, Steph Curry!

Congrats Keegan on a career night! Keep making us proud!
