Eastern Iowa High School English Teacher Awarded For Going The Extra Mile For Students

The Fall 2025 semester is keeping on and as kids are studying hard, we're going out for our surprises with Ultimate Chocolates to highlight and reward a deserving Quad Cities teacher.

It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Ultimate Chocolate's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Amy McGuire, English teacher at Assumption High School!

Ms. McGuire was nominated by Melodi, who said in her nomination:

Amy McGuire from Assumption High School. She would do anything for anyone even at their lowest. If they did not have food she would give them hers. She would be the first person to go to when you need something. She is the kindest person ever and will go out of her way just to help you even if it's not her English work, she will help. She will go to the sporting events even though she doesn't have any kids playing, she would go just to support.

Way to go, Ms. McGuire!
