Bettendorf Teacher Who Puts Students First Gets Awesome Award

It's the Fall 2023 semester and we are heading out to schools with our awesome program with Nothing Bundt Cakes and Scooter's Coffee to honor and reward our awesome Quad Cities teachers and educators. It's called QC Teacher of the Week and we are so excited to announce this week's teacher of the week!

It's now time to announce this week's B100, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Scooter's Coffee's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Sarah Vice, a 6th-grade teacher at Forest Grove Elementary (Pleasant Valley School District) in Bettendorf!

Mrs. Vice was nominated by a fellow teacher, Wendy Reyes. Mrs. Reyes has this to say about Mrs. Vice:

"I would like to nominate Sarah Vice as the best teacher and teaching partner. After 22 years at the same school, I took a leap of faith and transferred to Forest Grove. I had worked with Sarah in a previous role she had in the district and knew she was an amazing thinker and problem-solver. And I knew with her kids always came first. Every day since I moved to Forest Grove to teach 6th grade with Sarah has been a day filled with innovative student-centered thinking. After 32 years in education, I’m probably nearing the end of my career, but Sarah keeps each day fresh with new learning for not only our students but for me as well. Every student and teacher who enters her classroom is lucky to be part of her excellence in education. We have a lot of laughs along the way too! Here’s to the best of the best, Sarah Vice!"

For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Vice has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack including stickers, koozies, and more, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes and a cup and gift card from Scooter's Coffee!
