Now, the team has announced which Bears players and legends will take part in the movie, which premieres October 17th.
Current team members making cameos in the movie will include Colston Loveland, Cole Kmet and Ben Johnson. Johnson joked about never having acted before in a press conference. He said that both he and Kmet took some acting classes in the offseason but he Loveland didn't need them as his acting skill was "natural".
Bears legends to be included will be Charles "Peanut" Tillman, Mike Singletary, Dan Hampton, and Connie Payton, wife of the late Walter Payton.
The movie will star:
- Lyndsy Fonseca ("How I Met Your Mother")
- Robert Buckley ("One Tree Hill")
- Marsha Mason ("Grace and Frankie")
- Barbara Alyn Woods ("One Tree Hill")
- Khary Payton ("The Walking Dead")
Other notable names that will be in the movie include Tamera Mowry-Housley, Marilu Henner, and Chicagoland locals like "Stranger Things" Jake Connelly and Dyon "Mojo" Brooks.
There's no word on what exactly the plot is but the "Holiday Touchdown" series has also featured movies on the Bills and the Chiefs. The Bears' movie premieres at 7:00 p.m. CT on October 17th, available to watch the next day on Hallmark Plus.
