Eastern Iowa Art Museum To Offer Mimosas & Masterpieces In “Art Off The Wall”
It's going to be a weekend of art and brunch.
Now that it's finally warming up outside, there's more and more stuff to do! Spring is coming around and our calendars are filling up. We love to see it.
This week, the Figge Art Museum's "Art Off The Wall" annual art auction fundraiser is back for another year. It will be Sunday, March 16th from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Of course, there will be plenty of beautiful art pieces to bid on but there will also be plenty of mimosas and brunch bites too!
It's hosted by local entertainer Bobby Ray Bunch and items up for auction run the art gamut. It will feature paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, jewelry, and more on the auction block.
If you can't go to Art Off The Wall but you still want to participate, you can. You can buy raffle tickets online that will get you entered to win a beautiful vase made by Quad Cities artists Steve Sinner and Pat Bereskin. One raffle ticket is $10, three are $25, and five are $40.
You can see Figge's Art Off The Wall auction catalog here.
Sunday brunches are classic (especially on St. Patrick's Day weekend), might as well check out one that helps out the local arts too. All proceeds from Art Off The Wall will benefit the Figge Art Museum. The Figge often has things going on and you can see what's on the docket on their events calendar.
It's a special year for the Figge, as they're celebrating 100 years in 2025!
