Nothing makes it feel more like the holiday season than massive helium balloons taking over downtown Davenport for the biggest balloon parade in the Midwest.

It's the kickoff of the annual Festival of Trees celebration put on by the Quad City Arts. The parade and the festival begin the same day with a magical holiday flair. With the holiday season officially here, you're probably wondering how you can see these massive balloons and enjoy a Quad Cities holiday tradition like no other. Luckily for you, we have all of the details.

This year, it's on my birthday! Saturday, November 23rd, and the parade begins at 10:00 a.m. If you've attended a parade in downtown Davenport, you have a good idea as to what the parade route typically is.

The parade will have it's staging area on Pershing, Iowa Street, and in-between 3rd, 4th, and LeClaire. It will go all the way down 3rd Street, turn on Scott Street, then go back up 2nd.

Best Spot To Watch The Balloon Parade

I mean, there isn't a bad place to sit and watch the parade but there is the best place to watch it though.

The best place to watch the Festival Of Trees Balloon Parade with your kids and friends is the Daiquiri Factory. You know, since the parade goes right down 3rd.

Again this year, Sarah will be at Daq Fac for the parade morning playing your favorite hits until noon and I'll have your chance to win tickets to The Pork Tornadoes!

The Daiquiri Factory will have the garage doors open, open-air porch space, adult beverages perfect for a Saturday morning, delicious food, and it's just a blast!

The Daq Fac will open earlier than normal for the parade at 9:00 a.m.

Parking will be available on the street like normal that isn't along the parade route, in private lots, or marked otherwise. For those who want to park in one of the Davenport ramps or somewhere you have to pay, can pay for that parking on Davenport's Parkmobile app.

This is the kickoff to the Quad City Arts Festival of Trees which features so many incredible events like a Celebrity Lunch, Silent Disco, the Sugar Plum Ball, and so much more!
