Wisconsin, If You Hear Code Brown At Walmart Leave Immediately

It feels strange when you're shopping at a Walmart in Wisconsin and hear a random color announced over the intercom and don't know what it means. Those colors are important and mean something awful is happening.

Those announcements with color codes aren't just employees speaking code to each other. Customers can stay safe and get out of harm's way immediately if they know what they mean.

There are other color codes you may hear that will also mean danger in your local Walmart.

1. Code Black is for severe weather.
2. Code Red will indicate there is a fire in the store.
3. Code Green is an active hostage situation.
4. Code Orange is for a chemical spill.
5. Code Blue is for a possible bomb threat in the store.
