Common Chord is hosting a fundraiser for one of the coolest programs in the area - The Penguin Project. 

The Penguin Project of the Quad Cities empowers children with disabilities, allowing them to explore their talents in the performing arts in a supportive and inclusive environment. It’s a testament to the belief that the arts can transcend any limitation.

The night of April 25th is an evening of entertainment and goodwill, with music provided by three QC Rock Academy bands at Color Outside The Lines - A Fundraiser For The Penguin Project.

QC Rock Academy is dedicated to nurturing the musical talent of the Quad Cities’ youth. Through mentorship, performance opportunities, and a supportive community, the academy helps young musicians find their voice, build confidence, and connect with others, showcasing the unifying power of music.

7 Ark, Mercury’s Crown, and Impossible Wonder – and additional opportunities to support The Penguin Project through t-shirt sales and a 50/50 raffle.

QC Custom Tees will be on hand to provide a hands-on custom shirt-making experience for those in attendance.

An exclusive online store by QC Custom Tees will run from April 3rd through April 20th. Here, you’ll find special merchandise featuring a unique logo created specifically for this event, with each item priced at $25.00.

The Penguin Project was the subject of a documentary by FreshFilms that shows how much of an impact this program makes on kids.

Color Outside The Lines takes place April 25th at 6pm, with doors opening at 5pm. Tickets are just $5 at the door. Under 19 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
