Shoppers at a Dallas Target recently got more than they bargained for when a horse—yes, a real one—was spotted trotting through the aisles. The stunt, orchestrated by horse trainer Stephan Harmon, has galloped across social media, racking up over 5.7 million views and leaving a trail of mixed emotions (and other things) in its wake.

A Stable Environment No More

Harmon entered the store on horseback alongside a friend and a young boy, turning the retail giant into a makeshift stable. While some customers were amused, others were less than thrilled to find a literal "night-mare" in the clothing section. The situation quickly went from quirky to messy when the horse decided to leave several "unplanned deposits" on the floor... In case you didn't get that... It pooped everywhere.

Store Staff Says "Neigh"

The clean-up crew certainly didn't find the humor in the situation. In the viral footage, a frustrated Target employee can be heard shouting, “What are you doing? Get out of the store with a horse!” Security eventually escorted the group out, but not before they completed a full lap of the premises.

Social Media Stir

Online reactions were split between laughter and disgust. Many users felt the stunt was "herd" behavior for influencers.

  • “This is disgusting,” one viewer wrote.
  • “It crapped on the floor. Wtf,” another added.
  • “I’m amazed they made it a full lap... It’s funny until you’re the one slipping on a 'mess' while trying to buy groceries,” a concerned shopper noted.
  • “Everything for views these days,” another critic remarked.

Ultimately, the cowboy was kicked out, proving that while you can lead a horse to Target, you definitely shouldn't let it shop.
