Every year, Mr. Thanksgiving has pulled together volunteers and donations to host a massive free Thanksgiving meal to ensure that no one spends the holiday alone. After a venue change, the needs to continue the tradition continue to change as well.

At this time, just a week before Thanksgiving, you can still help by donating some money to help continue the great tradition.

Check Out Last Year's Impact:

This year marks the 53rd annual Mr. Thanksgiving Meal—a testament to the generosity and spirit of our community. Happening Thanksgiving Day, November 28th, from 4–7 PM at Mercado on Fifth in Moline, this event is set to serve nearly 2,000 people, both dine-in and carry-out.

The goal is to raise an additional $5,000 to ensure every guest enjoys a warm, traditional Thanksgiving meal.

Here's how you can help:

Make in-person cash donations at one of three donation locations on Monday, November 25th from 6am-10am:

RIA Federal Credit Union (Bettendorf off Utica)
Lou Fusz (SouthPark Auto Plaza in Moline)
Mercado on Fifth (Downtown Moline)

- Write checks payable to RIA with the memo: 'Mr. Thanksgiving.'
- Donate online anytime at RIAFCU.com/MrThanksgiving

The Hy-Vee in Bettendorf, off Devils Glen Rd, kitchen crew has stepped up in a big way,
preparing 110 turkeys, 600 pounds of stuffing and mashed potatoes, and more. The City of
Moline, Mercado on Fifth, RIA Federal Credit Union, Lou Fusz, and Stern Beverage are also
contributing cash or in-kind donations. Let's keep the momentum going!

Shoutout to The Outhouse for donating porta-potties for the dinner's visitors and volunteers. The Outhouse: "Premiere Portable Sanitation Since 1993."
