Downing Family Fundraiser

Brooks, the 2-year-old son of a Davenport Fire Fighter, was first diagnosed with cancer this past spring. Despite surgery and treatment, the cancer has since spread throughout his brain and spine.

Sadly, there is no cure. As his parents prepare for the unthinkable, they are also burdened with mounting medical
expenses.

There's a special event to raise funding to cover all the medical bills so they can focus on what really matters at this time.

It's a special golf outing at Iron Tee on October 25th from 11am to 3pm. 25% of proceeds from the event go to the Downings.

There's a longest drive contest, silent auctions, raffles, and closest to the pin competition. If you can't make the 25th, they're continuing the 25% deal from October 26th-November 9th, if you mention Downing Fundraiser.

There's also a GoFundMe.

It's Michaels' Birthday

K-Ball

Did you know there's a completely different ball for field goal kicks than the usual play ball? It's conditioned completely differently. This year, the teams all got their balls and can season them however they want before games, and the thought is this is why the field goals seem like they're way longer this season. Michaels talked about Tom Dempsey's field goal that broke the records back in the day - and how his shoe changed the rules. He only had half of a right foot, so his shoe was specially designed and almost looked like a boxing glove. His record stood for 53 years.

Wrong House, Bro

A guy tried to break into a house - Henry Rojas. Rojas went "all in" on it.

"I don't like guns; I wasn't looking for a knife or nothing — just God and my hands, that's it," he told the local news, while showing off his moves.

Bear Shops At Kroger

Some video was caught of a bear walking around the store, surely asking employees where the honey is.

We've Got FOMO

Our friend, "The Armless Archer" Matt Stutzman, was hanging out with some other guys we know, Farmtruck and AZN the other day.

I was scrolling Instagram and came across a video of Matt running a grinder with his feet, and then saw who posted it. Where was our invite?

If you don't remember Farmtruck and AZN's visit to our studio, they did a burnout in the 97X truck, and the burn mark is still on the front sidewalk.
