The Quad City Steamwheelers are one victory away from reaching the pinnacle of the Indoor Football League. This Saturday, the team will host the Eastern Conference Championship Game at Vibrant Arena at The MARK, with kickoff scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CT. A win would send the Steamwheelers to the 2025 IFL National Championship, held on August 23 in Tucson, Arizona.

Home-Field Advantage in the Conference Finals

Thanks to a stellar 11-5 regular season, the Steamwheelers secured the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and hosted their first playoff game of the season last weekend, defeating the Jacksonville Sharks 57–41 in front of a raucous home crowd. That win punched their ticket to the Eastern Conference title game, where they will face the Green Bay Blizzard.

Led by dual-threat quarterback Daquan Neal, Quad City's offense has been explosive all season. Neal has consistently dazzled both through the air and on the ground, and he is supported by standout weapons, including running back Jarrod Ware Jr. and wide receiver Tamorrion Terry. On the other side of the ball, the Steamwheelers’ defense—anchored by league-leader KeShaun Moore in sacks and Bubba Arslanian in total tackles—has routinely stifled opponents.

A Trip to Tucson on the Line

If the Steamwheelers win on Saturday, they will advance to the 2025 IFL National Championship Game, which takes place on Saturday, August 23 at Tucson Arena inside the Tucson Convention Center. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. MST / 6:30 p.m. CT and will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.

One Game from History

The Steamwheelers are on the brink of something special. With a high-powered offense, lockdown defense, and unwavering community support, Quad City is positioned to not just contend, but win it all. A victory this Saturday will book their trip to Arizona and give them a shot at their first-ever IFL Championship under head coach Cory Ross.

The stakes are high, the crowd will be loud, and for the Quad Cities, this weekend is about more than just football—it’s about making history.
