Illinois Residents Could Be Owed Money in New PlayStation Settlement
If you’ve got a PlayStation in the house and you or one of your kids is a big gamer, you might be owed some dough.
Apparently, Sony is facing a $7.85M settlement over allegedly overcharging for digital games. How to Qualify for the PlayStation Store Refund
Of course, Sony denies they did anything wrong, and the case is still awaiting final approval, but if you’ve ever spent a dime at the PlayStation Store, you might qualify, and here’s how.
* Bought a certain PlayStation game, see the list HERE
* Used a voucher discount before April 1, 2019
* Then saw the price go up by at least $0.50
Looking at the list, I think we might qualify. If you notice a game in your library that was bought digitally, you might be eligible, too.

When Will PlayStation Users Receive Their Payouts?
Here’s the thing: if you are all good, you’re automatically included and will receive notice to opt out or object by July 2.
Like everyone else, the most important part is figuring out how much you’re owed, but as of right now, no one knows. The next step will be a court hearing to decide payouts.
