I really enjoyed playing sports growing up, especially football. I would've loved to play in college but I didn't have the skills to continue on that level. There weren't as many opportunities back when I was in school.
Beloit College Is Adding Men's And Women's Ice Hockey For 2025-26 Season
There are so many more chances nowadays for men and women to continue with athletics in college. You don't have to be an a Division I athlete to play sports. There are plenty of opportunities at smaller schools.

It's so great for students to get that experience along with their education. Beloit College is the perfect example. It's an excellent small Wisconsin school with an amazing athletic program. They recently added men's and women's hockey to their program.
Unfortunately, Northland College in Ashland will be closing after this school year. They had men's and women's hockey programs. Since Beloit College didn't previously have those sports, they decided to add them for next season.

Beloit College has already hired coaches and is in the process of recruiting players, including students from Northland College to come play at their school. I think this is a great move and hopefully will pay off down the road.
Men's and women's ice hockey is coming to Beloit College in Wisconsin starting in the 2025-2026 season.
