Illinois didn't just show on Niche's new list of the Best School Districts in America; they showed out.
How Niche Ranked the Best School Districts
Glenbrook High School District 225 in both Glenview and Northbrook was called the Best School District in America according to these rankings released by Niche. They analyzed data from the U.S. Department of Education, including reviews from students and parents. Each district in America was graded on categories such as test scores, graduation rates, college readiness, and overall teacher quality.

What Makes Glenbrook #1 in America
In nine out of ten categories, Glenbrook scored an A+, which includes academics, teachers, and college prep. It's also scored a B+ grade for diversity as the district serves more than 5,000 students across both Glenbrook North and Glenbrook South high schools.

Illinois Schools Dominate the Top Ten
Illinois also had four other schools land in the national top ten, including:
- #4 New Trier Township High School District 203 in Northfield and Winnetka
- #5 Township High School District 113 in Deerfield and Highland Park
- #6 Community High School District 128 in Vernon Hills
- #8 Hinsdale Township High School District 86
