Culver’s Wisconsin Football Freebie: How Fans Can Grab Free Curds This Season
Football season officially kicks off this weekend, and if you're already planning to spend the weekend on your couch watching all your favorite teams fight for glory on the field, why not cash in on some free, cheesy goodness while you're at it?
Culver's 'Curds In The Third' Giveaway
As an Illinois resident who doesn't really follow football, I'm usually pretty clueless to what's going on with Wisconsin Badgers football and the Green Bay Packers, but today this delicious promotion caught my eye:
I can get free Culver's cheese curds just for watching football? (Some sacrifices are worth the curds. Lol!)
How Culver's 'Curds In The Third' Promotion Works
First off, Culver's 'Curds In The Third' promotion isn't only available to Wisconsin Badgers fans, they offer it to Green Bay Packers fans too:
Here's a simple breakdown of how to score free curds:
- Anytime the Packers or Badgers make a scoring play in the third quarter (touchdown, field goal, or safety) a digital promo code will appear on the team's social media pages.
- You head to Culver's website, enter the promo code, and then you will receive a free medium order of Culver's cheese curds, but you must add another item to your cart online to get the deal.
- Promo codes are only good for 48 hours after the scoring play.
Now, let's get to the biggest question of all: is this offer good nationwide, or just at Wisconsin Culver's locations?
Is Culver's 'Curds In The Third' Available Nationwide?
While I couldn't find the answer for this very important question on Culver's website, I did find this from 2023 press release when the promotion first started with the Packers:
In the new "Curds in the Third" promotion, any Packers scoring play occurring in the third quarter will reward guests with free Wisconsin Cheese Curds at all Culver's locations.
So, fellow Illinoisans, it looks like we can cash in on the free curds too. Let's go!
