Iowa Speedway’s Grand NASCAR Revelation

NASCAR is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a huge Hawkeye State endeavor!

In October, officials from the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing announced that they would be bringing more racing to Iowa next year. This NASCAR Cup Series is set to come to the Iowa Speedway in Newton.

Iowa Speedway is a state-of-the-art 7/8-mile asphalt paved tri-oval racetrack and motorsports facility and just so happens to be the fastest short track on the planet. For 2024, officials are not only hosting the Hy-Vee IndyCar Race Weekend (July 13th through the 14th) but also the inaugural Iowa NASCAR races.

In a recent announcement, officials confirmed that this series now has a name.

And to be quite honest, it's a very fitting one for a race that is taking place in the Hawkeye State...

It's officially been named the Iowa Corn 350, Powered by Ethanol. Iowa Corn is the official sponsor of the event that is slated to take place on Sunday, June 16th at 6:00 PM.

“I am pleased to share with the NASCAR family, why choosing higher blends of ethanol benefits everyone,” said Stan Nelson the Iowa Corn Promotion Board President.

“We can make a sustainable difference today, without buying a whole new vehicle, but by simply choosing to fuel up with ethanol at the pump. And not only are we benefiting the environment but also our economy, as ethanol is the most affordable renewable fuel option on the market today.”

Both grandstand tickets and camping are completely sold out for this event. Officials encourage fans who are looking to buy or sell their tickets to the Iowa Corn 350, Powered by Ethanol to visit SeatGeek.

Furthermore, this thrilling weekend of racing in Iowa features a NASCAR Xfinity Series race at 2:30 PM on Saturday, June 15th, along with ARCA Menards Series racing on Friday, June 14th.
