The NHL season came to an end last night as hockey fans witnessed one of the most exciting championship series of all time. The Florida Panthers beat the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 to bring home Lord Stanley's cup.

In a best-of-7 series, Florida jumped out to a quick 3-0 series lead, before Edmonton finally woke up. The Oilers won games 4,5, and 6 to force a game 7. The Florida Panthers were able to hang on last night (June 24), and beat the Oilers 2-1.
