Dollar Beer Night Returns at Quad City Storm’s Blackout Wednesday Game
IT'S $1 BEER NIGHT FOR BLACKOUT WEDNESDAY!
If you’re looking for the perfect way to kick off Thanksgiving break, look no further than Vibrant Arena at The MARK on Wednesday, November 26. The Quad City Storm are hitting the ice against the Peoria Rivermen at 6:10 PM, and this game is shaping up to be the must-attend event of the night before Thanksgiving.
$1 Dollar Beer Night Is BACK
Yes, it’s true. “The highly anticipated dollar beers are back!” Fans can grab 16-ounce domestic beers for just $1 at concessions from the opening puck drop until last call. It’s the perfect pre-holiday celebration, whether you’re hanging out with family in town or kicking off a long weekend with friends. And to make it even better, the Storm will be taking the ice in specialty blackout jerseys for the night.
The Sock and Underwear Toss Returns
As if that wasn’t enough to get fans fired up, “The Sock and Underwear Toss is BACK.” Fans are asked to bring new, packaged socks and underwear and hang on to them until the Storm scores their first goal of the game. When that happens, it’s go-time—fans toss the donations onto the ice in a scene that every hockey lover should experience at least once.
A Night of Fun That Also Helps Others
All items collected will go to nonprofits throughout the Quad Cities supporting people experiencing homelessness. It’s a wild, unforgettable moment that also makes a real difference for people who need support as winter hits.
The night before Thanksgiving doesn’t have to be just sitting around waiting for the turkey. This year, you can cheer, celebrate, enjoy dollar beers, and support the community—all at one incredible hockey game.
