New List Suggests Wisconsin Is The Worst State In America

Wisconsin is one of my favorite states to visit, and vacation in, so I already disagree with this list before even seeing it. I love the state I live in. After watching said video however I can agree that there is some issues here. Though I'd argue we are nowhere near the worst...

A recent video came out naming 13 things that make Wisconsin the worst state. The creator did ad a disclaimer though.

Wow what a strong start. it also doesn't help that this video throws shade at Wisconsin cheese.

The List Of Wisconsin's Worst

Let's look at the top 5 reasons. Some of these get a bit goofy.

5. Small Town Mentality. This one feels generic. All of the Midwest has small towns who want to know everyone's business.

2. Bad Roads. A recent study actually marked Wisconsin as the 5th worst state when it comes to roads.

3. Isolated Travel. From the lack of public transportation, and the long roads of nothing, this one again could be said for many Midwest states

2. Alcohol Consumption Is High. This one makes sense seeing as though Wisconsin has been reported as one of the drunkest states in America.

In 2022, 24/7 Wall St. ranked Wisconsin as the nation’s “drunkest” state based on self-reporting, with 25.2% of Wisconsin residents drinking excessively. In 2021, 41 of the 50 most heavily drinking counties were located in Wisconsin.
