According to animalvivid.com there are plenty of other animals that are venomous in Illinois. Those animals are as follows:

Brown Recluse Spider - This spider is among the United States’ most poisonous house spider species, despite not growing over a quarter or half an inch long.

Black Widow Spider - The black widow spider is not often aggressive and stings people in an attempt to defend itself. However, the black widow spider is one of the thirty to thirty-five species of spiders you may ‘regularly’ see in the southern-half parts of Illinois.

Venomous Snakes In Illinois

According to Illinois DNR, there are four native Illinois snake species that are venomous:

Copperhead - This species of venomous snake member of the subfamily Crotalinae in the family Viperidae.

Cottonmouth -  This is a species of pit viper in the subfamily Crotalinae of the family Viperidae. It is one of the world's few semiaquatic vipers.

Forty species of snakes inhabit Illinois, dwelling in forests, grasslands, marshes, swamps, ponds, lakes, streams, rivers and sloughs. Some species are quite common, while others are very rare. These reptiles are solitary predators that eat a variety of prey.

Thankfully only 4 of those 40 are venomous.

Iowa Stingray Home

This home is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It holds two tanks, both around 300 gallons each. They both contain different types of stingrays. As for right now, this project is just for fun, though the owners do hope to someday breed these rays.

It's been about a 6-month process getting all the supplies, tanks, and stingrays.
