The year was 1998.  A little search engine called Google was founded.  James Van Der Beek was running the creek.  We were asking ourselves "what the meaning of the word 'is' is".  And the Nu-metal was taking over the music scene.  And that is the important one that we are going to focus on as we take you back to The Nu-Metal tour that defined a generation.  The Family Values Tour.

Relive it on Saturday, June 13, at The Rust Belt with the Family Values Tribute Night.  For $19.98, you can see tributes to Korn, Limp Bizkit, Deftones, and Rob Zombie.

Tickets are on sale now right here, and you can also win them below.

Did you know Rob Zombie was supposed to be on the initial Family Values Tour but was bumped due to "high production costs".  So then they booked Rammstein.  Guessing those production costs have changed places since then!

Our very own Wonkzilla will bring all things Rob and White Zombie back to The Rust Belt stage like it was supposed to be in 1998.

Deftones were on the 2006 Family Values Tour.  But when you talk about nu-metal in 1998, Deftones were telling everyone to "Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)" in the most nu-metal way.

White Pony is a Chicago-based Deftones tribute band that will get you in all the feels.  But save the chill for after the show.

Chocolate Starfish & The Hotdog Flavored Water - Tribute to Limp Bizkit

Before it was "Dad Fred" it was "Red Hat Fred" with all the antics that made 1998 nu-metal so great.  Not giving a ___ and starting ____ at Woodstock.  An original in The Family Values lineup, Limp Bizkit will always be nu-metal royalty.

Coming our way from Michigan, Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water are "just some dudes who like Limp Bizkit".  And it will be a great way to start the party.
