The holidays are a time for friends and family.  And of course, if you are spending time with friends and family, you might have to do some holiday shopping.  The drinks, the snacks, the drinks, the drinks.

Just be sure you are stocked up before Hy-Vee is closed, so that their employees can also spend time with their friends and family.

Don't wait until Christmas Eve to get your food for Christmas Day.  Many Hy-Vee store locations will also be closing early on Christmas Eve, December. 24. Pharmacy hours will vary by location, so customers are encouraged to contact their local Hy-Vee store for holiday pharmacy hours.

Beyond that, all Hy-Vee locations will be open normal business hours on Dec. 26 and for the rest of the holiday season.  That includes New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

If you are the last person in the store on Christmas Eve, or the first person in the store on New Year's Day, or anything in between, just remember that this is the busiest time of year for the workers who are just trying to have a happy holiday and help you do the same.  So treat everyone with the merry spirit of the season!
