Avenged Sevenfold

For 20 years Avenged Sevenfold has been doing things their way.  With M. Shadows (vocals), Zacky Vengeance (guitar), Synyster Gates (guitar), Johnny Christ (bass), and Brooks Wackerman (drums) the band has released seven studio albums including their most recent "Life is But a Dream...".

Before the album came out, I-Rock 93.5 had a chance to talk with Johnny Christ (a mini "Drinks with Johnny") and we talked about everything from wrestling to music.  Johnny said the new album is clearly "different sonically" but is still Avenged Sevenfold.  He said no matter what they do it goes through A7X filter.

Poppy

Poppy got her start on YouTube and defining Poppy and her music has been something writers have had a hard time doing since.

Racked called her "sweet, but alien" and "brightly addictive".  Or you can go with this one from AllMusic, "a metallic storm, informed by pulsing beats, thrashing riffs, and crushing breakdowns. That fury is punctuated by atmospheric electronics and sugary vocals that support her deceptively confrontational lyrics."

No matter how you try to define her, Poppy delivers to fans and will again live at The Vibrant Arena.

Sullivan King

Sullivan King is a DJ who has been blending EDM with rock and dubstep.  He's been touring for the past decade and has collaborated with Papa Roach and other big names in the music world.

Seriously, hopefully, it doesn't snow.  If you were around on February 1, 2011, you know all about it.  But we in the Quad Cities also know that even if it does, we'll be there to rock
