THANK YOU!

The 6 Freakin' Years of Hard Rock Anniversary Party was SOLD OUT with Sleep Theory, Nevertel, Oxymorrons, and Mourning Eve.  And of course, all of you!  There are pictures of you below...and plenty more on our post on Facebook.

It was an awesome night at the Rust Belt, and we appreciate every one of you who came out to celebrate 6 Years of I-Rock.  We'll start working on 7 years now...as long as you keep listening, showing up to what we do, and keep spreading the word!

The headliners proved again why they are headliners.  Sleep Theory played for nearly 90 minutes, showcasing everything in their lineup along with a fun cover that got the crowd dancing.  We've seen them before at The Rust Belt and in the studio, and every time we see them, they just get better.

Nevertel

Another band on the rise that showed why they are on the rise. It was a great set from Nevertel, who, when they were done with their set, didn't call it a night.  The guys came back out during Sleep Theory's set for their combo "Never/Sleep" song, Break The Silence.  One you'll be hearing more on I-Rock 93.5.

Oxymorrons

I know it was going to be high energy and fun.  And it was more than expected.  Oxymorrons went so hard that they had jewelry flying off their body!  The lead singer of Oxymorrons' wedding ring flew off his hand in the middle of the set.  We gave everyone a heads-up to look for it.  But in that big a room with that many people.  Hope was low...but the I-Rock listeners are the best!  When the night was over and the lights came on, the fans found the $5,000 ring and returned it to the singer!  The Rock family is the best.

Most of you might not have heard of Mourning Eve before our show. But now they have a lot of Quad Cities fans.  The young band, on their first major tour, on the first night of the tour, brought it and got the night started right.  It's great to discover new music...especially for $9.35.  And you can do it again on November 15th, right here.

THANK YOU!  Thank you so much for rocking with us for 6 Freakin' Years.
