The Top 9 at 9 Tournament of Champions

It's been one year of the Top 9 at 9. Thursday at 9:00 a.m. is my favorite hour of the week. No matter how good or random the topic is, you vote and tell me what you like. Not only does it make it a great hour of radio, but your votes matter well past Thursday morning.

We don't have money for fancy research and marketing. It's just me, a mic, and a truck. So this is how I know what you like, and I use these results to play songs more or less.

Now it's time to figure out what songs are the best of the best from the past year.

Over the next three weeks (May 7, May 14, and May 21), I'll build the polls from all the winners of the Top 9 over the past year. The way the songs are grouped in each poll is just based on when they were voted number one over the past year.

Each week, we'll play back the Top 9... but only the top 3 will advance in the Top 9 Tournament of Champions. Then, on May 28, we'll have those 9 songs for you to choose from. And there can be only one.
