You've probably said it 100 times.  You've certainly heard it even more.  "I wish kids would spend more time outside and off their devices". It's true, kids have way too many options inside.  More than we did for sure.  It really is hard to compete with virtual reality and gaming with 5 of your buddies online...but if we show them HOW to have fun outside then it will be easier.  Let's lead by example this weekend!

The QCCA Expo Center's Fishing, Hunting, & Outdoor Adventure Show is happening this weekend, Thursday, February 17th through Sunday, February 20th in Rock Island.

I'm not much of a hunter (although I just got my FOID card), or a fisherman (although I've got 4 fishing poles sitting in my way in the garage).  Camping?  I love camping!  We just got what I call a "starter camper" which is actually a pop-up camper. We can't wait to spend some time outside this year.
This is a GREAT event to grab some supplies to make sure you're not "roughing it" too much.

What The Quad Cities Did For Fun in the 90's

Many times over the years, I'll be talking with friends about years gone by and I'll say "take me back".

Every generation goes through this, I assume. Looking back at a more simple time where responsibilities haven't set in and life seems fun. Opportunities are endless.

Let's go back to the 1990's to Wacky Waters, 50 Cent Beer night and revisit Mallards Mania!
