It's a big weekend if you follow Chicago area sports teams. The Loyola Ramblers head to their first Final Four appearance since their championship run in 1963. The Ramblers will play Michigan at 5:09PM CST Saturday to see who goes to the NCAA National Championship game on Monday. The Chicago Cubs open their 2018 season in Miami with John Lester on the mound in a nationally televised game on ESPN. First Pitch is at 11:40AM CST.

Of course, not everyone is a Chicago sports fan. The St. Louis Cardinals start their 2018 campaign at Citi Field in New York. Carlos Martinez takes the hill for the Cardinals facing off against the Met's Noah Syndergaard. First pitch just after Noon CST. The other Final Four Tournament Game features Villanova vs. Kansas with a 7:49PM CST tip off.

In addition to the NCAA Final Four and Championship game and Major League Baseball, the pro sports scene is going strong for Quad Cities Teams. The Steamwheelers will try to get their first win of the season Saturday Night when they play Kansas City. Kick Off is at 7:00PM CST at the TaxSlayer Center. The Mallards are in Rapid City for games Friday and Saturday vs. the Rush, Finally, The River Bandits get their season underway with two games vs. Cedar Rapids Thursday and Friday at 6:35PM CST.
