Sometimes when you run a race…you hit the finish line and you’re greeted with a free beer! It’s a wonderful treat and one that has kept me on track during the very few races I’ve been a part of.

I talked with Josh Sherrod who has a brilliant idea. He’s turning the race after party into a full-fledged beer fest!

How Do I Sign Up For the Motown Mile in Moline?

Register now at RunMotown.com for the big run on Saturday, August 14th in downtown Moline where you’ll join other runners and beer enthusiasts for the MoTown Mile!

Pre-pandemic, the race was the Micro Brew Mile and now it’s bigger and better!

MoTown Mile & 6K Road Race presented by Northwest Bank & Trust, there will be multiple races for you to take part in and the MoTown Craft Beer Festival will be in the parking lot behind Barrel House off of 5th Avenue.

5PM - 8PM will be the General Admission Beer Fest. Tickets are on sale now for $39.00 at RunMotown.com. Tickets will increase to $44.00 dollars the day of the event, so register ahead of time so you can save some money.

Get in an Hour Early

Get the VIP treatment and hour before the beer festival starts. The VIP hour is sponsored by Brewed and all VIP Participants receive a limited-edition Pint Glass in addition to their taster, along with a track bag, a and of course early entrance into the Craft Beer Festival and including some special VIP Tappings. They will have some food trucks on hand, as well as merch tents, and live music on the main stage.

They’ve got 43 breweries on board so far, so it is going to be A LOT of different styles of beer to choose from.
