Severe weather will be a huge threat in Iowa to kick off St. Patrick's Day weekend 2025. Wind gusts up to 80+ mph, possible tornadoes, and hail all factors heading into the weekend.

A High Wind Warning has been issued for all of Eastern Iowa and a Blizzard Warning for counties throughout central Iowa. These winds could gust up to dangerous speeds.

It's going to be a wacky week of weather in Iowa as we'll see rain, snow, strong winds, and a potential for a blizzard in the middle of the week in central Iowa.

Residents of Iowa and Illinois need warm and cold weather clothes.

What will we get for winter 2025?

There is a lot more winter to go for Wisconsin.

Eastern Iowa will see more snow dumped on it this weekend. It won't be much but travel could be impacted early Sunday morning. 1-2 inches expected to fall overnight.
