Niabi Zoo announced on Facebook that they are hiring for their 2022 season.

Positions up for grabs right now are all seasonal. Your minimum requirement is you have to be 16 years old with a valid driver's license, and the ability to work 9am-5pm, and on weekends.

Some of the positions include:

  • Admission Booth
  • Animal Attendant
  • Assistant Zoo Keeper
  • Carousel Operator
  • Conservation Educator
  • Gift Shop
  • Maintenance
  • Membership
  • Receptionist

Possibly the most exciting open position is for the position of "Train Conductor," referring to the 24-inch gauge train that tours the zoo. As a kid, I remember the train being the thing I was most excited about. You could see all of the animals better than walking, or so I thought.

The job isn't without its perks, either. While employed, you'll get these awesome benefits:

  • Free admission and parking
  • Free ride and experience tickets
  • 20% off at the gift shop
  • 20% off education programs
  • Free attendance to Lunch & Learns
  • Employee appreciation night
  • "And More!"

You can apply online the Niabi Zoo website.
