For over a week, Adventureland has been teasing a big announcement coming soon on their Facebook page. This morning, they finally announced what it is.

They've done three posts with this picture, most recently this one:

Many fans speculated on social media about it. Is it Oktoberfest? Is it new rides? What is this big announcement in store? I too have been watching it to tell you about it. But when it was announced this morning, it was met with excitement but also several people wondering...is this it?

Adventureland's big announcement is a Phantom Fall FestBasically, weekends in October will feature both the sweet side of Halloween (like trick-or-treating) during the day and the park will switch to the scary at night.

It sounds cool and many people are tagging the BFF's they're taking with them. But scrolling through the comments on Adventureland's post reflects that I'm not alone in wondering if this is the week-plus long build-up they've posted.

As one who loves spooky szn, it sounds fun, but I'm not sure it's worth over a week of tease posts. I can't find any details online about the price of tickets for Phantom Fall Fest but you can do some more digging on the event here.
