A new Japanese restaurant is opening in the Quad Cities. Yoso Modern Japanese
Steakhouse and Sushi Restaurant plans to open in the Fall or Winter of 2022.

This is great news for all the sushi lovers in the area! For those who are not too familiar with the cuisine, some of their most popular dishes include sushi and sashimi. They also have other dishes like ramen and udon noodles if you're looking for something different to try.

If you are new to Japanese food here is my suggestion:  Talk to your friends and co-workers about the food to get an idea about what they like.  Even better, ask them which food got them into this new cuisine!

Invite them along for your first trip to Yoso and follow their lead.  They'll understand what to do with the utensils and small dishes that may seem foreign to you. Believe me, once you get a taste for Japanese food...you will return again and again.

According to WQAD:

The restaurant will feature an open flame robata-style grill that uses Japanese white oak charcoal. He says it's a very hot burning wood that is odorless and smokeless. The grill will be displayed in the middle of the restaurant.

There will also be sushi and other great Japanese and Asian dishes on the menu, as well as a full bar with a variety of sakes that you can sip on while you're enjoying [a] huge patio.

The new destination will be located at 1530 State Street in Bettendorf, Iowa and are currently looking for applicants for hire.
