Davenport Nothing Bundt Cakes Raising Money For Employee Fighting Cancer
First, let me say something we all can agree on. Cancer sucks. One of our awesome sponsors is raising money to support one of their own in her fight to kick cancer's ass, again! Nothing Bundt Cakes in Davenport is asking for all of our help to raise money for Charly Erpelding, an employee at Nothing Bundt Cakes, as she battles Ewing's Sarcoma.
Nothin Bundt Cakes in Davenport is helping Charly Erpelding, an employee of theirs, fight cancer. According to a flyer they put out, Charly was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma at the age of 8-years-old.
Ewing's Sarcoma is a very rare type of cancerous tumor that grows in the bones or the soft tissue around the bones, such as cartilage or the nerves. It usually affects people from the ages of 10 to 20 and has a high rate of being cured, according to WebMD.
Charly is one of Nothing Bundt Cakes employees and her employer is stepping up to help her in her fight. To do so, they are raising money for her for an entire week.
Nothing Bundt Cakes is asking all of us to come in and make a purchase between July 26th and July 31st. 20% of any purchase made at Nothing Bundt Cakes in Davenport will benefit Charly and her fight against cancer.
Nothing Bundt Cakes is located at 3020 E 52rd St in Davenport. They are open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
