Fulton Fall Festival Scheduled For October 2
Fall is officially here. Leaves will begin to turn, the air will become cooler, pumpkins will be picked, and we'll be inching closer to winter. But we won't think about that cold season yet because there is a ton of fun to be had this fall season. The town of Fulton, IL is holding its Fulton Fall Festival at the beginning of October and the family fun is free.
Fulton Fall Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 2nd. Events will take place in downtown Fulton and at Heritage Canyon (515 N 4th St, Fulton, IL 61252). The fall fun will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Events featured during this year's Fulton Fall Festival include the KT3 Fulton's Fittest. This event takes place at KT3 in Fulton (912 4th St). Tickets start at $100 which includes a 2-mile run/walk and the fitness competition. More information can be found here.
If you want to see what life was like on the prairie, live demonstrations will take place at Heritage Canyon (515 N 4th St).
Downtown Fulton businesses will also be having fun during this year's Fulton Fall Festival. Take part in the Scarecrow Stroll and walk through downtown Fulton to shop and take in the display of scarecrows made by downtown Fulton businesses.
Fulton's Windmill Cultural Center will also be open for folks to visit the famous De Immigrant Windmill (101 10th Ave).
Other activities and things you can expect at Fulton Fall Festival include pumpkin paintings, food trucks, fresh Amish baked goods, fresh orchard apples, grilled up lunch at the Fulton Meat Market (11-1 p.m.), and more.
