Niabi Zoo is just about a month away from opening and if you're planning to take the kids, you should know about a way you can save money on tickets.

Niabi Zoo is offering a discount to visitors who get their tickets online in advance (the link to do that is here). To get the discount, you have to buy the tickets by 9:00 a.m. on the day of your visit. Which is a quick and easy thing to do the night before you take the fam to the zoo.

For adults (13-61), tickets at the gate will be $11 but if you get it in advance online, it will be $9. Seniors (62 and older) will pay $10 at the gate but can get the discount for $8 online. Kids (3-12) will cost $8.50 at the gate but $6.50 online. So especially if you're planning to take several people, the discount is super helpful.

This is part of Niabi Zoo's effort to deal with staffing shortages and provide a good level of service for both guests and animals.

You can save money at the zoo other ways too. The zoo is also offering discounts on parking and experiences like giraffe feeding, train rides, and koi pond feeding when you order the tickets in advance.

Niabi Zoo will open on April 18th and will be open every day through Sept. 11. Its hours are 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

It's important to note that the zoo still has some COVID mandates in place. For guests, you'll need to wear a mask in all of the buildings, lines, and for feeding the animals.
