School is starting up very soon, and for many of us, it's an exciting time when the kids get back to a routine and the house gets quiet for a few hours a day.  (ahhh, relief)

But unfortunately for some, this is a super stressful time of year.  Many families can't afford the supplies needed to start kids off on the right foot.

We've got good news!

Hot Rods for Charities, Pack the Bus Car Show is happening on August 7th, 2022 this Friday, August 12th, 2022, at Wharton Field House in Moline and gives back to the Moline School District.

I talked to the organizer, Jenny Pettit, about the event who said,

As a single mom, I've struggled with buying school supplies and wish I had help. Now I'm in a better place and want to help those families who need the help. 100% of the money raised at the show goes to buying supplies book bags, pens, pencils, paper, etc. We want as many kids as possible to be first day ready and parents not stressing over getting supplies or paying bills or food. We will have a judged show. Coloring contest this year for kids. So many people to thank...it is unreal.
