Ranking the Top 10 Basketball Players in the World
Who is better Tatum or Embiid, Giannis or Luka, what about LeBron is he still a Top 10 Basketball Player in the World? Here is a list of the top 10 as it stands today...
If you want to hear me explain my Top 10 list, watch the YouTube video below.
Ok, before I begin let me say that this is my list, you may disagree with it, and that's cool, if you do just leave a comment on the article or on the YouTube video and let me know what you would change to the list!
1. Nikola Jokic - He has won 3 of the last 4 MVPs, plus a title, and a finals MVP, this is a no-brainer.
2. Giannis Antetokounmpo - 2-time MVP, Finals MVP, 1 ring, former World #1, and was 2nd in scoring this year behind only Luka, when healthy he is the only one who can challenge Jokic for the #1 spot.
3. Luka Doncic - Defense wins championships...He better start learning how to play defense consistently. He has all the tools to be the World's #1 player, just has to put it all together.
4. Joel Embiid - An MVP, a two-time scoring champion, and 3 times NBA Defensive second-team player. Joel when healthy is unstoppable, the only problem is he is rarely healthy.
5. Jayson Tatum - Tatum is the best player on the best team, a champion, and a complete player. He could be higher on this list but he is not an Alpha, he shrinks in the biggest of moments and luckily has Brown on his team to handle the lights when they are the brightest.
6. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - A 6.6" humble scoring machine, the sky is the limit for this kid, he is now a two time All NBA 1st team guy and could lead Team Canada to the Gold Medal game vs Team USA
7. Anthony Edwards - 3 weeks ago he was higher on this list, he is YOUNG, and had a bad WCF, but the sky is the limit for a kid who is a total Alpha. He has to refine his offensive game but that's it, he could be the face of the league by this time next year.
8. Kevin Durant - A legend who still can get a bucket as good as anyone on the planet, his only negative is that he is not a leader, and he is leaving his prime.
9. LeBron James - The 2nd greatest player in the history of the World is still a top 10 player this late in his career, it speaks to his greatness.
10. Jaylen Brown - He is NOT as talented physically as Tatum, but he is the heart and soul of the Celtics and is their Alpha and clutch player. A finals MVP, ECF MVP, a Champion, and right now I'd rather start my franchise with him over A LOT of other more talented NBA players.
