Cedar Rapids Is Apparently a Great Place to Be a Content Creator

The city of Cedar Rapids has once again made a national list featuring some of the best places to live in the entire U.S. For families or business owners? Not exactly. It turns out that Cedar Rapids is also a great place to be a content creator.

Cedar Rapids a Top 10 City for Content Creators

The Corridor Business Journal reports that the city of Cedar Rapids appears in a new national ranking of the top U.S. cities for content creators, as ranked by HostingAdvice. Cities were ranked in four categories: Connectivity and Infrastructure, Creative Community and Events, Cost of Living and Affordability, and Employment Opportunities, according to the CBJ. Cedar Rapids ranked 8th in the U.S.

The CBJ reports that the rankings were not done based on population or popularity, but instead featured cities that  “deliver the right resources and living conditions to support creator-driven businesses.”

Where Did Cedar Rapids Rank the Highest?

According to the CBJ, Cedar Rapids had a score of 91.29 in Connectivity and Infrastructure, and Internet Access Rate. It scored an 85.67 in Cost of Living and Affordability. The top five cities in the study were;

1. Las Vegas, Nevada
2. West Hollywood, California
3. Sioux Falls, South Dakota
4. Atlantic City, New Jersey
5. McAllen, Texas
