Are Cosplay & Video Games Your Thing? Quad Con Davenport is Here

Looking for a family friendly affordable way to nerd out? Quad Con Comic & Toys Show is coming to Davenport! Feb 19th and 20th!

They'll be taking over the entire Northpark mall in Davenport Iowa with over 80 tables of geeky goodness!

The Cosplay Contest is Saturday with sign up by Disc Replay (look for the Ghostbusters table) from 11am-130pm and the contest taking place around 3pm. Winner will be getting $50 Gift Card that can be used with any of the vendors/artists that are spread throughout the entire mall.

They'll be hosting Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros tournaments Video Game Tournaments too! There's no cost to enter and $50 goes to the winners of each tournament which also can be redeemed with ANY of the artists, authors, vendors that are setting up at Quad Con Davenport. Sign up will start up at 11:00am by the food court. They only have room for 16 entries per tourney.

Quad Con is all about coming together and enjoying different aspects of pop culture. Video games, sci-fi, role playing, comics, toys, board games, vintage magazines, posters, & more. Join us and sell some of your items, or come in and take home some treasure from your childhood you thought was lost forever.

I talked to John Wells, Quad Con organizer, and asked about the history of the show.

We started the quad con events and they have been growing since our very first one. We have taken the same mindset of affordable family friendly events and are taking them to Rockford, Madison, Wisconsin, Omaha, Nebraska, St Charles, Missouri, Peoria and many other locations.

Time Stopped in the 70s at This Rock Island Home
