5-7 Illini to Accept Bowl Bid if Offered

Despite not being bowl eligible, the Illinois football team may find themselves playing another game this season.

This isn't uncommon.  Every season there are a few teams that haven't reached the 6-win "bowl-eligible" mark that need to fill open slots.
